I was in need of some steel plates for a DIY project at home. I thought Lowe's would be a great place to start my search. You know, Lowe's is like this huge store that has all kinds of home improvement stuff. So, I walked in there one sunny Saturday morning.

I started looking around in the hardware section. There were rows and rows of different materials, but I couldn't spot the steel plates right away. I asked one of the store employees, "Hey, do you guys have steel plates here?" He was really helpful and said, "Yeah, we should have them. Let me show you where they might be."

He led me to a corner where there were some metal sheets. But they didn't look exactly like what I had in mind for steel plates. I was a bit disappointed. But we might be getting a new shipment next week. You can check back then."
