My dehumidifier doesn't work all of a sudden, and it's driving me nuts. I rely on it to keep the air in my basement dry, especially during the humid summer months. I've had this dehumidifier for a couple of years now, and it's been a real workhorse up until this point.
I checked the power cord first. It was plugged in firmly, and the outlet seemed to be working fine because I plugged in my phone charger, and it charged without any issues. Then I looked at the settings. I didn't notice anything unusual there. I mean, it was set to the normal humidity level that I always use.
I'm not really an expert when it comes to fixing appliances, but I decided to take a closer look at the filter. I thought maybe it was clogged and that's why the dehumidifier wasn't working.
