The Problem with Midea Dehumidifier Being Loud
I recently bought a Midea dehumidifier, and while it does a great job of removing moisture from the air, there's one big drawback - it's really loud. When I first set it up in my bedroom, I was shocked by how much noise it made. It's like having a small engine running constantly.
It's especially annoying at night when I'm trying to sleep. I can hear it humming and buzzing away, and it really disrupts my rest. I thought maybe it was just a temporary thing, like it needed to "break in" or something, but after a few days, it was still just as noisy.
I've tried moving it to different locations in the room, thinking that maybe it was vibrating against something and that was making the noise louder. But no matter where I put it, it still makes a racket. I even checked to make sure it was on a level surface, as the manual suggested, but that didn't help either.
Now I'm not sure what to do. I really need a dehumidifier in my room because of the dampness, but I can't stand the noise. I'm thinking about calling Midea's customer service to see if they have any suggestions or if there's something wrong with my unit. Maybe there's a way to adjust it to make it quieter?
One question I have is: "Does Midea offer any noise - reducing accessories for their dehumidifiers?" The answer is that I'm not sure yet. I need to contact their customer service to find out. Another question is: "Are all Midea dehumidifiers this loud, or is mine a defective unit?" Again, only Midea's customer service or further research can provide the answer.
