My Old Kenmore Dehumidifier
I have an old Kenmore dehumidifier at home. It's been with us for quite a few years now. This dehumidifier used to be a real workhorse. When we first got it, it worked like a charm. It was really good at reducing the humidity in our basement. You know, in the summer, the basement would get all damp and musty, but this Kenmore dehumidifier would just suck all that moisture right out of the air.
The design of this old Kenmore is quite simple. It's not one of those fancy modern ones with all kinds of digital displays and complicated settings. It has just a basic on - off switch and a dial to adjust the humidity level you want. It's big and bulky, but it doesn't take up too much space in the corner where we keep it.
However, as it got older, it started to have some problems. Sometimes it would make strange noises while running, like a rattling sound. And it didn't seem to be dehumidifying as effectively as it used to. I think some parts inside might be worn out. I've thought about getting it fixed, but I'm not sure if it's worth it since it's so old. Maybe it's time to invest in a new dehumidifier.
